X-FIPER Aramid Paper is a high-temperature resistant insulating paper made primarily from meta-aramid fibers. When processed into sheet form, it exhibits exceptional electrical, chemical, and mechanical integrity. When properly applied, it extends the service life of power equipment while reducing premature failures and maintenance frequency. X-FIPER Aramid Paper is available in various grades, primarily as insulating paper and laminates, each offering an optimal balance of properties for use in transformers, motors, generators, and other electrical equipment.

Dielectric strength

Calendered X-FIPER offers >10 KV/mm dielectric strength, further enhanced by impregnating with varnish or resin.

Thermal stability

X-FIPER maintains electrical and mechanical properties up to 200°C with no degradation, and retains performance even at 220°C. Non-toxic and flame-retardant. UL94 certified (E320646) since 2008. Inherently non-toxic and eco-friendly.

Mechanical strength

Calendered X-FIPER features a smooth, wear-resistant surface with high tensile and tear strength, ideal for processing and molding.

Chemically compatible

X-FIPER resists most solvents, acids, alkalis, and ketones. Compatible with insulating varnishes, adhesives, transformer oils, ATF oils, and other electrical components.
